Dedicated and signed "To my friend Hoeber/Carleton Wiggins" l.l.
Oil on canvas, 14 x 22 in. (35.6 x 55.9 cm), framed.
Condition: Lined, craquelure, surface grime, subtle varnish inconsistencies.
Estimate $2,500-3,500
The lining is adhered with glue or resin. There are thin glazes of retouch scattered throughout the composition, perhaps done to down-play the craquelure. The craquelure is stable. The work might possibly benefit from a cleaning.
