A View of, and from Captn Frederick's House at Portmneath Vaughan,near Glin neath, Vale of Neath
signed 'E Facon Watson' and inscribed as title on an old labelattached to the backboard, further signed and inscribed 'The smokein the distance indicates the train about to cross the viaduct onthe way to Abergavenny. Captain Fredericks was the last descendentof one of the ancient Princes of Wales. This view was painted onthe spot by E. Facon Watson.
