(20.3 x 9.5cm) provenance: Bland Gallery Inc, New York, New York. Property from Ditchley, the Colonial house formerly the Virginia seat of Jessie Ball and Alfred I. DuPont. note: We kindly thank John Fowler for his authentication of the pair by electronically transmitted images. These two paintings will be included in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné being prepared by Mr. Fowler.
