The collection of oriental bronzes, lacquer, porcelain,nineteenth-century pictures, watercolours and historical portraitsformed by the tea merchant W.R. Winch was sold in these Rooms insales on 13, 14 and 16 July 1888. The old label on the reverse ofthis picture seems to refer to a slightly earlier sale, on site atNorth Mymms Park, in which the present picture would have beenincluded.
