Both oils on canvas have been cleaned, relined and restored within the past 20 years or so, now still in good clean condition, although looking slightly flattened by the relining. Both signed lower left, in later gilt frames which are again in good clean order with typed title labels verso.

Afternoon Late Summer - in very good clean condition, with amere hint of a stretcher mark showing across the top, fullyinscribed with title verso and dated 1913.
Other work with a more pronounced stretcher mark at the topand one small flake patch of paint in the top mountain side butotherwise good. Inscription verso is indistinct but did have alonger part of the title and appears to also be dated 1913. Inprobably original gilt gesso frames which are in goodorder,
