Iwan Trusz (1869 - 1941)
Iwan Trusz studied at the Krakow School of Fine Arts under the supervision of Leon Wycz�kowski and Jan Stanis�awski. Later on he studied in Munich and Vienna. Trusz traveled a lot to such places as Rome, Crimea, Palestine and Egypt. Landscapes and sketches form that period were in a way reminders of the trips. Trusz lived in Lwow, where one can find a museum devoted to his work. He painted portraits, atmospheric landscapes and generic scenes. His paintings has always been seek for and greatly valued by collectors.
