§ Julian Trevelyan, RA (British, 1910-1988) Cats and Boats signed lower right "Julian Trevelyan" gouache on paper, rolled and unframed h:94 w:120 cm Provenance: From a Scottish private collection. This is possibly a design for a scarf for Ascher, possibly presented around the same time as Trevelyan's scarf design 'Boats For Hire'. It is not known whether the present painting was ever published. We are grateful to the Bohun Gallery for their assistance with this catalogue entry. Damage to surface with tears and creases in paper, and page is torn across part of the signature. Has been rolled up for some time.

Julian Trevelyan (1910-1988) etching with aquatint Chiswick, signed in pencil, titled and inscribed artists proof overall 20 x 15in. The hint of some acid staining showing around the mount but otherwise in good condition, undulation of paper so it is not laid down, most signs of dirt specking are on the glass and not the work, signed and inscribed in pencil, plain card mount and plain painted frame.
