measurements 55cm description white marble, signed and dated w theed fet roma 1839 this lot contains 1 item(s). this is an early bust for theed who travelled to rome in 1826 to study under thorwaldsen, gibson and wyatt. in 1839 he executed busts of the duke of lucca and the princess of capua, which was exhibited at the r.a. it is posible that this bust is indeed the latter
