Vintage salt print from paper negative, on orginal card mount. Titled in black ink on the recto of the mount

This photograph, showing Talbot's plaster cast of a Hellenistic marble now in the British Museum, appeared as plate 17 in The Pencil of Nature. The same print is at The Metropolitan Museum of Art collection.
