two portraits of race horses with jockeys
Each signed, "F. Smyth"; the first entitled, "Crucifix, Winner of the Oaks, 1840, ridden by J.B. Day" and the second "Little Wonder, Winner of the Derby 1840," oil on canvas, framed.

Estate of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Wister, Oldwick, New Jersey.
Estimate $250-350
Each soiled, with craquelure, small loss of paint to left of "little Wonder", slight vertical line, approx. 1 1/4 in. long, near frame edge flouresces on "Crucifix."
