Condition: Craquelure with flaking, patch reinforcement, minor retouch, surface grime.
Estimate $1,500-2,000
Stretcher with stamp from John C. Grennell & Company, Brooklyn.
Craquelure with active flaking along the right edge, the largest area located l.r. measuring 3 x 2 inches overall. Another area of craquelure with paint loss at left side, center, which corresponds to a patch reinforcement on the reverse. Retouch to all four corners, and broad thin washed of retouch to the sky.
