As picture appears somewhat thinly painted, it may well be partially skinned (overcleaned) though we do not know the history of this picture. There is scattered restoration and retouch to parts of man's clothing, left wrist and boots, and to parts of the chair and draped brown cloth at man's side. There is likely some retouch to parts of the ham slices and the jug on the table. There is some retouch and restoration just beneath top of painting and fill at lower center just above windows.
