E W H oil on board - three quarter portrait of a seated boy cradling pull-along soft-toy, initialled and dated 1906, 25.5 x 18ins (63 x 46cms) Provenance: unknown artist but the sitter was a member of a later-based South Wales Jewish family who fled to South Africa prior to WWII. There is a Durban gallery label to the reverse, the painting was gifted to the vendor's family by the sitter's family.
