Lot Notes
The Sound of Sleat (pronounced 'slate') is a body of waterseparating the Isle of Skye from the west coast of the Scottishmainland. Its wild and spectacular scenery have inspired manyartists over the years, with the mountains of Skye running straightdown to the sea where a fast tidal race makes the sound a challengeto small craft.
