Signed and dated "Wm T. Richards. 1900." l.l.
Watercolor on paper/board, sight size 16 x 25 1/2 in. (40.6 x 64.8 cm), framed.
Condition: Scattered pale foxing, accretion u.r., not examined out of frame.
Estimate $4,000-6,000
The work might be subtly toned. There is pinpoint foxing throughout the composition,; some of these spots may have been down-played with dots of retouch. Near the edges of the composition some of the foxing reads more like fly specks. Although it has not been removed from its frame, there are no other visible condition issues to report.
The frame is period with losses as seen in the image, but due to its fragile nature we cannot guarantee the condition of the frame.
