John Robertson Reid (1851-1926) Mother and child seated on headland looking out to sea Signed and dated (19)09 oil on canvas, 59cm by 90cm In overall good - fair and stable condition. Some very widely spaced and deep craquelure across sky which has had some unfilling. Small patch repair to reverse of canvas around neck, some surface dirt. The canvas is showing through in some isolated areas around rock and brushwork somewhat flat in places.
