Georg Balthasar Probst, excudit, b. Augsburg 1673, d. s.p. 1748 Prospect with Copenhagen Castle and the Stock Exchange. Presumably inscribed in print under the passepartout. Engraving in colours. Visible size 29.5 x 41 cm. Examnied and described in frame. Some foxing. The paper has turned slightly brown.

Georg Balthasar Probst (German, fl. ca. 1757-1817) "Joseph's Brothers Presenting His Coat of Many Colors to Their Father", hand-colored engraved folio page, fourth quarter 18th century, titled in engraved script in Latin, French, Italian and German at the basal edge, sight h. 11-1/2", w. 16-1/2". Presented in an antique red-edged French-striped cream mat within a carved antique-gilded wood and plaster frame and glazed.
