Lot 1803 Istvan Prihoda (Hungarian, 1891-1965) oil on canvas, 'Source', signed, 23 x 19in. Estimate £180-220 Oil on original canvas which is starting to sag a little, various lines running through the paint, notably along the top stretcher marks but also some fine craquelure running through the flesh of the figure. Signed lower right. Overall in fair condition, now in a modern painted moulded frame, title inscribed on back of stretcher. Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports.
