Charcoal and pastel on collaged paper, 36 x 23 3/4 in. (91.4 x 60.3 cm), framed. Condition: Subtle rippling, not examined out of frame. Provenance: Collection of the Stedawill Art Foundation, Long Island, New York. N.B. Sold to benefit Community Servings, a nonprofit food and nutrition program feeding 1300 critically ill neighbors and their families each year in eighteen communities across Massachusetts. Description Elizabeth Murray, American 1940-2007, 'Sniff' 1984, probably color lithograph on paper, in pencil numbered lower left '15/31,' with title in center 'Sniff,' and signed and dated lower right 'Elizabeth Murray 84.' Framed. (PENN109){LJS} Property purchased from a prominent New York City law firm. Full sheet: 28" H x 41" W, Framed: 35" H x 48" W Framed. Not examined out of frame. Print appears to be affixed to back matting by tape hinges, which cause very minor rippling.
