Claude Muncaster (British, 1903-1974) 'In the Docks: Algiers' signed 'CLAUDE MUNCASTER' (lower right); bears artists label verso, also with letter signed by the artist verso oil on board 39.5 x 75cm (15 9/16 x 29 1/2in). The letter verso describes Muncasters technique for oil painting and refers to a painting of Algiers in the Bradford Corporation permanent collection.
