Mostyn" LR, original partial labels verso including one reading in part "Painted by Tom Mostyn, 5 Melina Place, St. John's Way", craquelure to both canvas and gilt frame, some gentle warping around stretchers, checking at frame corners, not examined out of frame, ss: 19 1/2" h. x 26 3/8" w.

Estimate £2,000-3,000 Oil on canvas which has been cleaned, restored and relinedwithin past 10-20 years, still in v.good condition, v.slightlybowing out in middle and probably in need of v.light clean, stillwith slight off colour varnish. Signed lower right. In probablyoriginal cream and gilt scroll frame which is starting to split atcorners. Estimate £400-600 Oil on original canvas which is still in essentially goodcondition, very slight sagging noted otherwise varnish is startingto discolour and this would benefit from a gentle clean. In aFlemish style mock tortoiseshell frame which is in goodorder.
