Oil on canvas relined within the past 10 - 20 years or so, canvas still good and tight but looking rather dirty, may well benefit from a clean, some areas of lifting and flaking of paint scattered throughout the work, a few small paint chips missing in the black of her dress, one or two larger chips missing in the red of her scarf also loss of small chips of paint in the balloons and smaller chips scattered elsewhere, appears to be a band of re-touching running from above left hand red balloon horizontally across and into the branches of the trees, a section approximately 2 inches high across this area appears to have been repainted. Signed and dated lower right, in a later gilt frame, no labels or inscriptions verso,
