One pencil and watercolour on paper, the others pencil on paper, the largest measuring 32 by 25 cm (image size) and the smallest 18.5 by 15.5 cm.

Originally from Vitebsk, Osip Zadkine (1890-1967) moved to Parisin 1910 where he flourished as a sculptor. He met Marevna in 1912at
La Ruche
(The Beehive), which offered low-cost studiospace for artists.
