Comment1 To be sold with a notebook of pencil drawings by Marevna and her daughter, Marika Rivera, dated 1929; seven letters from Marevna to Dr Raoul and Juliette Germain and two letters from Marika to the Germain children; a press cutting and the brochure Marevna. CATALOGUE NOTE Originally from Vitebsk, Osip Zadkine (1890-1967) moved to Parisin 1910 where he flourished as a sculptor. He met Marevna in 1912at La Ruche (The Beehive), which offered low-cost studiospace for artists.
