Major wins included the New Stakes (1892); Middle Park Plate(1892); Newmarket Stakes (1893); 2,000 Guineas (1893); Epsom Derby(1893); St. Leger Stakes (1893); Eclipse Stakes (1894); Princess ofWales's Stakes (1894); Ascot Gold Cup (1895); 6th U.K. Triple CrownChampion (1893). His world record for career earnings remainedunbroken in England for 57 years. Sent to Cheveley Park Stud near Newmarket for breeding duty,Isinglass sired three British Classic Race winners, Cherry Lass,Glass Doll, and Louvois. He also was very successful as a sire ofbroodmares, notably as the damsire of Prince Palatine. His skeletonis in the Natural History Museum, London.
