Inpaint in the bend of the pawnbroker's arm, in the front of the customer's boot and the customer's left elbow. No other visible restoration under UV Light. Lot 2036 John Arthur Lomax (1857-1923) oil on wooden panel, "A Bowl of Bishop", signed, 9.5 x 13.5in. Estimate £1,000-1,500 Oil on original wooden panel, now in good clean condition with no faults noted, original label on the back for W.Barker & Co of Harrogate, in an ornate gilt gesso scroll frame which has seen some restoration and still has a few minor faults but overall is in good order. Descriptions provided in both printed and on-line catalogue formats do not include condition reports.
