Cornelis Kuipers (Dordrecht 1739-1802) Roses, peonies, cineria, tulips, a great mullein and other flowers in a sculpted vase, a pineapple, grapes, peaches and other fruit on a marble ledge, with a perch on a fishing rod, a caterpillar, a fly, a spider and ants with signature 'J. Van Os. fecit' (lower right, on the ledge) oil on panel 26¾ x 20 1/8 in. (67.9 x 51.1 cm.) Cardinal Joseph Fesch, Rome.
