(47 x 30.2cm.)

Torii Kotondo (1900-1976) Kesho (applying powder), from the series Twelve Aspects of Women Woodcut of a woman applying powder to her neck with her left fingers, signed and sealed Kotondo and dated in the image Showa 4, 6th month (1929.6), Sakai/Kawaguchi publisher blind stamp lower left margin and title blind-stamped in lower margin, numbered on paper label affixed to verso 112/200--good impression, gauffrage, faded, foxed, margins toned 45.9 x 28.8cm.
