Oil on canvas mounted on cardboard, 110,5 x 67 cm, framed, signed lower left.
Polish painter, grandson of the painter Julius Kossak and son of the painter Wojciech Kossach, brother of the poetess Marie Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska and writer Magdalena Samozwaniecova. His favourite subjects were historical and battle scenes, namely Napoleon wars and battles of the Polish legions.
