Lot Notes
Stefan Knapp was born in 1921, in Bilgoraj, a small country town situated in the south east of Poland. He studied at the Central School of Arts & Crafts, and later at the Slade School of Fine Art. Knapp is best known for his vibrant enamel murals which can be seen in many museums and public buildings throughout the world.
