Hanging scroll, ink and color on silk; depicting Xi Wangmu (J. Seiobo) as an elegantly dressed Chinese maiden, with two young attendants, one holding a bamboo basket filled with the peaches of immortality, in a garden setting; signed Kichu no natsu sha Kansai Mori Koshuku (Painted by Mori Kansai Koshuku in the summer of the mizunoto ox year [1853]) and sealed Tachibana Koshuku in and Tachibana shi Shiyo; together with a wooden tomobako.
