Rocky landscape
Indian ink and gouache on cardboard, mounted , glazed, undated, signed lower left.
Austrian landscape painter, he studied under A. Zimmermann at the Viennese Academy of Arts, he was influenced by the work of Zimmermann and Pettenkofen. He travelled widely around France and Holland, he settled in Paris and was active in the Barbizon.
