Hurt 1890.; also signed and titled on the stretcher: After the Storm, Glendochart, Perthshire/ Louis B. Hurt oil on canvas 102 by 152.5cm., 40 by 60in. Estimate 20,000 - 30,000 GBP Print The canvas has been lined. There are some very minor spots of surface dirt in isolated places. Otherwise in good condition, generally clean and ready to hang. Ultraviolet light reveals some very light spots of retouching to the sky area and one or two very minor suggestions elsewhere. Held in a decorative gold painted frame in fair condition.
