Sale 50 Lot 1644 ARTHUR HEYER (German, 1872-1931). THREE WHITE KITTENS PLAYING NEAR A BASKET, signed and dated 1924 lower left. Oil on canvas - Framed, 19 in. x 27 in. Estimate $1,500-2,500 Surface dirt and debris; slight stretcher stress; canvas slightly buckled; slight vertical crease with minor losses above middle kitten, small loss in blanket below kitten at right. UV: inpainting at lower right corner; in blanket fold behind kitten's tail at right, and along vertical crease; heavy varnish makes restoration difficult to detect.
