Thomas Heeremans (Haarlem 1641-1694) oil on wooden board, View of Leyden, signed and dated 1674, 13.5 x 18.5in. Oil on old oak panel, appears to have been cleaned within the past 10 - 20 years or so, now still in good condition but for a very slight bowing to the board and minor surface dirt, signed and dated to the left, in a later gilt gesso scroll frame. Some signs of worm holes verso along with remnants of old collectors seals and old hand inscribed label. Provenance: Deceased estate

Thomas Heeremans (Haarlem 1640-1697), River landscape with a ferry boat, fragments of a signature (in the boat), oil on panel, 26.5 x 22.5 cm, framed, Provenance: According to a label on the reverse, the painting was once preserved in the collection of Sir Charles Briggs (1865-1941). A second paper label with an attribution to Klaes Molenaer.
