GEORGE WAINWRIGHT HARVEY (American,1855-1930) ESSEX MARSHES.
Fine pastel sunset scene shows amarsh area with tidal river having recently harvested sea grassformed into large stacks. The sand dunes are seen beyond. All undera fabulous colorful yellow to pink to blue sky which is reflectedin the water. Two small boats are seen on the right side along withthe signature. Housed in an outstanding, possibly original, giltframe with gilt liner, behind glass. SIZE: Sight: 15" x 29".CONDITION: Very good. 9-99405 (2,000-3,000)
