watercolour, signed,
35cm x 49cm
Gifted to Len Whitehead of Whitehead Brothers Printers in Wolverhampton in 1962 by the artist. Included is a letter from Tunnicliffe to Whitehead detailing how he would like it to be framed and how it would be packed for posting. it has since been re-framed according to the original instructions by a professional picture framer in Mid Wales. The Whitehead Brothers made prints for Charles Tunnicliffe and the two became friends, as evidenced by other letters which are now the property of the Tunnicliffe society.
