Isabella Piccini and Georg Haas, 18th-19th century Isabella Piccini (1644-1734, Italian engraver): "Christus humiliauit semetipsum factus obediens usque ad mortem:mortem autem Crusis; propter quod & Deus exaltauit illum, & donauit illi nomen quod est super omne nomen:ut in nomine omne genuslectatur cælestium, terrestrium, & infernorum". Inscribed in print Isabella Piccini". Engraving. Plate size 47.5 x 43.5. Furthermore is the matching coppar plate enclosed. Georg Haas (1751-1817, Danish engraver): "Udsigt af det Store Belt ved Corsöer". Inscribed in print Georg Haas Kiöbenh. 1772. Mezzotint. Plate size 52 x 57 cm. (3) Isabella Piccini was an Italian nun, daughter of the engraver Guglielmo Piccini. Engraving and mezzotint: Some foxing. The paper has turned slightly brown. Coppar plate: Wear due to age, among others marks and scratches.
