Green (Charles, 1840-1898 ) Commodore Trunnion arrives at the Inn, original artwork for an illustration to The Adventures of Peregrine Pickle, by Tobias Smollett, monochrome pen and ink wash over pencil, 160 x 220mm., signed in pencil, lower right, captioned below, with the inkstamp of the famous New York collector, Frederick R. Halsey [Lugt 1308], twice on verso, mounted at three corners onto card support, later 19th century.
