Sale 50 Lot 1680 GUILLAUME ROMAIN FOUACE (French, 1827-1895). TABLE TOP WITH CAT AND GAME, signed lower left. Oil on canvas - Framed, 23 1/2 in. x 28 1/2 in. Estimate $10,000-12,000 lined. Minor rubbing at extreme edges from frame. UV: some areas of restoration (some older some more recent) in cat's ears and face, a 5 x 1 inch area in tablecloth below cat, along right edge and some along top edge, in upper left corner (4 x 1 in.) area, and scattered in background. Uneven varnish makes detection difficult.
