KEITH MICHELL (b.1928) - Crouching figure, oil on board, signed and dated ````59, inscribed ````Jacob```` verso, framed, 26cm x 30.5cm Keith Michell, the Australian actor, is perhaps best known for portrayal of King Henry VIII in the 1970s BBC television series. He also illustrated the popular Captain Beaky stories in the 1980s.

(b.1923) - Portrait of prisoner Donald Hulme with Dartmoor Prison beyond, oil on canvas, signed and dated 1957, framed, 61cm x 51cm Bernard Pearsall began painting in Dartmoor Prison whilst serving a ten year sentence. He painted scenes of prison life and fellow prisoners. An exhibition of the artist's work was held at the Upper Grosvenor Galleries, London in 1968
