Maurits Cornelis Escher 1898 - 1972 DAY AND NIGHT (BOOL/KIST/LOCHER/WIERDA 303) Woodcut printed in black and gray, 1938, signed in pencil, inscribed 'eigen druk', on Japan paper, framed image: 392 by 677 mm 15 1/2 by 26 3/4 in sheet: 420 by 757 mm 16 5/8 by 29 7/8 in The print is in good conditon, a fine impression with wide margins. Unobtrusive pale yellow discoloration and several inconspicuous fox marks in the upper left corner. The verso, with three hinge remnants on the top sheet edge showing through to the recto. (Printed from two blocks, the join can appear as a dark vertical line in the center of the image. This mark is not present in this impression). In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above.
