(50.8 x 61cm) provenance: Phillips London, sale of April 28, 1992, lot 55. Private Collection. Estimate $40,000-60,000 This unlined painting is taut and planar. It is in excellent original condition. Minor drying crackle is confined to the dark areas in the dogs. Examination in UV light indicates that there has been no damage to this painting with minor inpainting confined to the very edges of the painting.
