Description: HOSODA, EISHI 1756 - 1829 Edo period. Censorship: Kiwame, ca. 1795-1796. Nishiki-e, Karazuri. Framed, Ôban, 39 x 26,3 cm. Series: Wakano hatsu ishô (Fashion as fresh as young leaves). Sheet: Chôji-ya Nishikido, Kikuno, Nishiki (The courtesan Nishikido from the Chôji house, Kikuno and Nishiki (Kamuro)). Sitting in front of a mirror she adjusts her hairpins. She wears a kimono with maple leaves and wavy pattern in blind embossing. Sign.: Eishi zu. Publisher: Eijudô. A6.B3, 2.B4, 1.B5, 4.B7, 4.B8, 3.B10.B13, 1.C4, 4.D3, 4.
