Georg Decker (Pest 1818-1894 Vienna), Archduke Leopold, child portrait,
pastel on card, 48 x 37 cm, framed, glazed, (Lu)

Archduke Leopold Ferdinand (1886-1935), eldest son of Grand Duke Ferdinand IV., lived from 1902 under the name Leopold Wölfling. Georg Decker was commissioned by Archduke Ferdinand IV to paint a series of portraits of the archducal Tuscan family. The complete series was exhibited at the Künstlerhaus, Salzburg. Provenance: House of Habsburg.
