Muchos críticos de arte califican a Gabriel de la Mora como uno de los artistas más relevantes de la actualidad, con piezas al nivel del trabajo de Gabriel Orozco y Julio Galán. Obtuvo su Licenciatura en Arquitectura por la Universidad Anáhuac en México, Maestría en Fotografía y Video en Nueva York y estudios en la Escuela de Diseño y Bellas Artes de Saint-Étienne en Francia, preparaciones que garantizaron parte de su carrera profesional.
Sus obras han sido expuestas en infinidad de galerías y museos en países de América, Europa y Asia. Desde el 2008 ha realizado casi 28 exposiciones individuales y sólo entre 2015 y 2016 ha participado en un poco más de 18 muestras colectivas. La Colección Jumex, Museo de Arte Moderno de México, El Museo del Barrio de Nueva York, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Los Ángeles, Colección Fundación Televisa y el Museo de las Américas en Washington, entre muchos más cuentan con obra suya en sus acervos.
Many art critics qualify Gabriel de la Mora as one of the most relevant current artists, with pieces that reach Gabriel Orozco's and Julio Galán's level. He graduated from Architecture in Universidad Anahuac de Mexico, obtained a Master's degree in Photography and Video in New York and studied in the School of Design and Arts of Saint-Étienne in France, all of which prepared him for a successful career.
His works have been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums in America, Europe and Asia. From 2008 he has presented almost 28 solo shows, and just between 2015 and 2016 he has participated in more than 18 collective exhibitions. La Colección Jumex, Museo de Arte Moderno in Mexico, Museo del Barrio in New York, Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, Colección Fundación Televisa and Art Museum of the Americas in Washington are some of the institutions that own some of his works.
