ROMEYN DE HOOGHE Het Hoog en Lager Huys van Engeland. Two etchings, 1702-1728. One 475x575 mm; 18 3/4x22 1/2 inches; the other 437x575 mm; 17 1/4x22 1/2 inches. Both very good impressions. Hooghe's representations of the House of Commons in London (with images of the House of Lords inset upper center). Two etchings from a series of three, one showing Queen Anne and the other King George II in attendance; an earlier version from 1689 shows William III in attendance. One is the second state (of 3); the other in the third state (of 3). Both Hollstein 153. Estimate $800-1,200
