ROME ART PROGRAM 2nd ANNUAL BENEFIT ART AUCTION

The 2nd Annual Rome Art Program Auction seeks to showcase the creative journey of program alumni, drawing and painting from perception and observation in Rome, Italy each summer, where 'The Studio is the Street'. The auction also includes many artworks donated by distinguished artists from the USA, the UK, Japan, and Australia. Through the 2012 auction and benefit, we are building support for future scholarships and ALL proceeds from the auction will go towards student scholarships in Rome.

We ask patrons to bid generously to ensure that deserving students get to embark on this unique and invaluable path towards artistic development and achievement of their goals. "La Dolce Vita - Artworks" Rome Art Program Auction closes December 12, 2012 at 10:00 PM CT. For more information, contact Jeri Carroll at 214-409-1873 or jeric@ha.com.

About The Rome Art Program:

The Rome Art Program takes its inspiration from the plein-air tradition that has drawn artists to the streets of Rome for centuries. The program includes an International faculty of distinguished artists, art historians, and visiting artist, a rigorous curriculum with daily drawing/painting sessions, weekly group critiques, and art history seminars on-site. The program also offers exciting field trips to Pompeii and Florence led by an art historian, with additional visits to Arezzo, Siena, and Venice.

The Rome Art Program is incorporated as a U.S. non-profit educational organization. Please visit our website Rome Art Program for more background and first-person testimonials from our alumni.
