Add. Notes: Signed C. Dausch Roma 1885, on a cylindrical grey marble pedestal The figure: 48½ in. (123 cm.) high; The pedestal: 45 in. (114.5 cm.) high (2) ProvenanceNotes: Constantin Dausch (1841-1908) began his career as a stonemason at the town hall in Munich. He enrolled in the Munich Academy in 1869 though completed his studies in Rome, where he spent the remainder of his life.
