Georges Croegaert studied at the Academy of Antwerp. From 1876 he was active in Paris. His specialties were small female portraits of ladies from the Belle-Epoque. He exhibited from 1882 to 1914 at the Salon de Paris and abroad. Works of Croegaert belong to collections of various international museums.
