bartolomeo coriolano (1599-1676) four sybils after guido reni (bartsch xii 87.2; 88.3-88.5) chiaroscuro woodcuts, circa 1650, printed from two blocks in black and green, very good impressions, three with small margins, b.88.5 trimmed just outside the borderline, b.88.3 with a small paper loss in lower right corner, occasional creases, glued at corners; with over fifty etchings by and after guido reni, lorenzo loli, simone cantarini, b. castiglione, s. della bella, c.w. dietrichs, and others, many very good impressions, glued onto sheets of a 19th century album, up to seven etchings per sheet, in varying condition, bound in a leather covered album (some sheets loose, wear at spine) (a large collection) overall size 637 by 477 mm; 25 1/8 by 18 13/16 in the arms on uppers are those of ponsonby quartering ashley-cooper impailing those of gordon.
